Information for a candidate

Work is more than duties and responsibilities; it is also a physical, economic, and social environment you face.
Therefore, it's very important where you work. If you realize this, you understand that looking for a job is a very complicated task. To find what you really want is far from easy.

So, if you have decided to find a job - let's start with a summary.
Summary is your business proposal for an employer.  The summary itself, though very good one, never places you in a job, but it gives you a chance to awake employer's interest in you as a potential candidate.
Besides, the summary displays the ability of a candidate to think, and represents a pattern of communication. That is why it's very important to make up a professional summary.
There is no common cliché of a summary either in international or home practice.
The most common summary is 1 or 2 pages long, made up in a chronological way. But there are several main principles to help your summary be more efficient and impressive. They are:

Purposefulness. A summary should clearly represent what position you claim to and why you are the right candidate for an employer. You should point out your objective, specific duties and your progress in work. You'd better not put in one summary variants of possible work that differ greatly. Choose the work you are really able to perform. A summary should be true, and you should highlight key points in a right way, i.e. describe information conforming to the initial objective in detail.
Easy for visible perception. A summary should be well structured, well printed, and to the point. It shouldn't contain unnecessary information, e.g. family, religion, etc.
Standard of making up a summary. Grammar mistakes, poor language, misprints, hand-written summary, etc. do no credit to its author.
Too extensive. Ideal summary length is 1 page. 2 pages are allowed for a specialist with much experience and long service record. A summary of 3-4 pages is usually normal when the matter concerns a letter contract, or top-manager position.

You are welcome to send your summary by e-mail.
